Company history
In 1992 Richard Welter Maschinen- und Zahnradfabrik GmbH, headquarters in Lahr, purchase Messrs. Bischoff, legal domicile in Horb-Mühringen. 1993 Messrs. Welter Werkzeugtechnik GmbH was founded as independent subsidiary. In the same year the company moves from Horb-Mühringen to Sulz-Hopfau and Michael Beilharz joins the firm. When the former managing director left the company Michael Beiharz has become his successor. 1996 Michael Beilharz acquires Welter Werkzeugtechnik GmbH from Peter Welter and becomes owner and general manager. For reasons of space and industrial logistics in 1998 a new hall was built and the firm moved to 72179 Vöhringen, Maybachstr. 1.
Welter-Werkzeugtechnik GmbH supply milling cutters to different branches of industry as subsuppliers for the automotive, sanitary and surgical tools industries, only to mention some of them.
